CFBx is a free, play-money game where you buy and sell pretend shares in college football programs. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we keep only what the game needs, we never sell it, and there are no ads or trackers.

What we collect

• Your email address, to sign you in. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address, name and profile picture with our sign-in provider. We use only the email.
• Your game activity: your play-money cash, the shares you hold, and your trades.
• A display name, only if you choose one to appear on the public leaderboard.

We don't collect payment details (there's nothing to buy), your location, or your contacts.

What's public

If you pick a display name, that name, your rank and your net worth appear on the leaderboard. Your email address and individual trades are never shown to other players.

Your browser

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores your sign-in session and display preferences (such as how prices are shown) so you stay signed in. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and team logos from ESPN's image servers, which receive your IP address when they serve them.

Who helps us run CFBx

These services process data on our behalf, only to run the site:

• Supabase: sign-in and the game database.
• Render: hosts the website.
• Resend: delivers sign-in emails.
• Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google".

We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account while you use CFBx. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email contact@cfbxchange.com from the address you sign in with, and we'll remove it within 30 days.

Children

CFBx isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
